Acid Aid is all about stomach health, providing nutritional support for a healthy pH and plant based care for delicate stomach tissues. Acid Aid contains natural calcium and magnesium sources that help maintain a healthy pH for a prolonged period, making it the ideal addition to your pre-exercise feed. Acid Aid also includes seaweed meal, liquorice and a specialised yeast providing daily care and long-term support for gastric health.

Key Inclusions & Benefits 

Maerl (calcareous marine algae) – a natural source of slow releasing calcium and magnesium that helps maintain a healthy pH level in the stomach.

Alfalfa Meal – provides protein and calcium working in combination with maerl to provide support a healthy pH level in the stomach.

High Nucleotide Yeast Extract-providing nucleotides and inositol. Nucleotides provide the building blocks for DNA and RNA and play an important role in cell membrane health whilst inositol supports the digestive system during times of stress and aids a healthy immune response. 

Probiotic Yeast – aids digestion and supports a balanced pH in the hindgut especially when feeding concentrates.

Seaweed Meal – supports a healthy level of acid production and provides additional antioxidants to help maintain healthy stomach tissues .

Linseed Meal – provides Omega 3 Fatty Acids for a healthy inflammatory response.

Liquorice Root– is a source of antioxidants working alongside linseed meal to support a normal inflammatory response.

Directions For Use

A complementary mineral feed for horses to be given as part of a balanced diet. For 500kg horse: 50g per day split over at least 2 feeds. 25g (approx.) measure enclosed. Maximum 100g per day.
